Pacific View Charter School is a K – 12 public school that opened in August 1999. The school provides Oceanside and neighboring communities an educational alternative to the traditional school setting. Enrollment at the school is strictly on a voluntary basis. Students in San Diego County and in any neighboring county may attend at no cost. The staff of Pacific View Charter School desires to work in an atmosphere of collaboration and mutual understanding with all who attend. Through the Personalized Learning Model, PVCS provides a partnership with our parents, students, and staff. We hope you find your experience at PVCS a positive one.

The K-8 students and parents meet every two-three weeks with the Supervisory Teacher. K-8 students use virtual curriculum and may participate in a classroom experience one day a week. 

The High School students work independently and together with a parent, meet weekly with the Supervisory Teacher. Some high school courses are supported by tutoring, labs, or workshops.
