During the ceremony, students will be given a blank diploma holder. Diploma certificates will be distributed to students when the checkout process has been completed. This process includes class completion, returning textbooks and/or Chromebook, receipt of official transcripts from other schools, etc. Once everything is in order, you may stop by the school to pick up and sign for your diploma as early as June 23, 2025. This year, our caps and gowns will be royal blue. Our school colors are blue and yellow.  Pacific View Charter is purchasing a cap and gown for each student who wishes to participate in the graduation ceremony.  The cap and gown, plus the 2025 tassel, will be yours to keep. The gown will be ordered to the measurements you provided in the Graduation Survey.  Your cap and gown will arrive in mid-May and will be available for pickup during school hours.  As you will be able to keep your cap and gown, you are welcome to decorate the top of the cap as long as it is school-appropriate.  Tassels are worn on the right (and will be moved to the left during the ceremony).

Graduation Survey
You should have already completed the Graduation Survey. If you have not completed it, or need to make any changes, please email our school counselor, Celia Hernandez, at chernandez@pacificview.org. 

Your graduation day is a special day for you, your family, and your friends, so it is important that appropriate attire is worn for this occasion. The recommended attire is business casual, and the shoes worn should allow the graduate to comfortably walk up and down stairs. The tassel should be set on the RIGHT side.  Students need to have any leis and sashes ahead of time; families will not be able to give leis to graduates during the ceremony.

Attendance at the graduation rehearsal is mandatory if you are planning to participate in the ceremony. The graduation rehearsal will be at 1:30 pm on May 21st at the Junior Seau Amphitheater in Oceanside. You must wear your cap and gown to the rehearsal.  A 2025 graduating class group picture will be taken immediately following the rehearsal.

At this event, students are expected to follow the school dress code. Student cell phone use will only be permitted after the completion of the commencement ceremony. Keep your phone hidden away until the commencement ceremony has ended. Be respectful of your peers, spectators, and yourself. The use of alcohol and drugs at this venue is illegal and will be strictly monitored by school staff and security. Any student under the influence will be removed from the ceremony.
