Course Information

Most PVCS courses are offered in one of three formats: 

  1. Courses without a modifier (English 11) are Pacific View courses created by department PLCs and are mostly project based. Courses are A-G approved. 

  2. Courses with the modifier Foundations are created by department PLCs and use text written below grade level to support struggling students. These courses can only be personally offered by administrator approval. Courses are NOT A-G approved. 

  3. Courses with the modifier Edgenuity are courses offered through the online curriculum vendor Edgenuity and tend to be test/quiz based. Courses are A-G approved.

    Each course is 1 semester (5 credits) unless otherwise noted.
